June 2, 2015 marks a milestone for the Wyakin Warrior foundation with the start of the first New Warrior Orientation.The orientation will begin with introductions and expectations. Throughout the seven week orientation, new applicants for the Wyakin Warrior class of 2015 will receive courses designed to provide all of the tools necessary to be successful in the program.The mission statement of the Wyakin Warrior Foundation is to enable severely wounded or injured veterans to achieve personal and professional success as business and community leaders. Currently, the foundation serves 23 student veterans with a 100 percent retention rate.
